Known names: Pickle plant, Candle Plant, Candle Stick, Senecio stapeliiformia
Hardiness: Best above freezing, thrives indoors by sunny windows.
Mature Size: ~1' tall, spreads via rhizomes.
Light: Best in at least 3 hours of direct sun - Full sun (except for desert areas).
Water: Let soil dry out for about a week before rewatering. Less water in hot months.
Soil: Fast-draining, holds moisture well but fast-draining. Add extra pumice or pearlite into potting mix.

Plant Size: Grown in 4" pot
Upright "sticks" eventually grows into a cluster with new growth appearing from the base. Will branch if you prune the tip. More branching with more-mature plants; younger plants will probably only produce 1-2 new stems, while more mature ones can produce 3-5. Bright reddish-orange flowers in Autumn.
